Spare parts for T Class
The full valance walk way, the bogie side frames, hand rail sets, sandbox sets and can motor with fly wheels have arrived. These will be available after Easter.

The full valance as a spare part will allow dedicated modellers to accurately replicate those locomotives with valances cut away. Individualising the locomotive or adding a full valance to a locomotive to back date it.

The full set of handrails will allow modellers to replace lost or damaged handrails on their locomotives.

The spare motors are the specified 5 pole can motor with skew wound armature and twin fly wheels.

The bogie side frames are complete side change set of 4. They are easy to fit after removing the bogie there are two screws that hold them on. They are complete with springs and journals.

PTS-1 Can motor 5 pole with twin flywheels
PTS-2 Metal handrails
PTS-3 Full Valance plus plastic parts
PTS-4 Complete bogie side frames (4)
PTS-5 Sandboxes set

ZD range, Indian run out.
There has been a delay getting some of the Indian product out. So unfortunately some items like the GJF/GJX wheat hoppers, BD wagons, the BCV and MLK might be delayed for delivery. We will attempt to get them out ASAP.

T & H Class myth buster 1
The current production, the first for the H Class and the second for the T Class, all have 5 pole skew wound can motors and all have an updated and improved DCC decoder. The factory reset on this decoder is CV8=11.
This post does not, NOT, apply to the first production T Class.

The first and simpliest fix for a T Class/H Class is to check the mode first, switched to DC for DC operation or switched to DCC for DCC operation, and then if running in DCC, and switched to DCC mode, do a factory reset CV8=11.

The mode switch must be physically set to DC or DCC for example set to DCC mode is no good for DC operation. If you are running the locomotive on DC then it must be switched to DC operation and if you are running it on a DCC layout it must be switched to DCC mode.

CV8=11 is the factory reset for the second production run of T Class locomotives and for the H Class locomotives.

The changing of CVs is not recommended. Hence no DCC booklet.

If you want to change decoder, the NCE DA-SR is it. Nothing else is recommeded. Wiring in a new decoder requires attention and there are differences between the first and second production run.
